Kwa mara ya kwanza klabu ya KRC Genk ya Ubelgiji ambayo inaongozwa na kocha lakini inachezewa na nahodha wa timu ya taifa ya Tanzania Mbwana Ally Samatta, imempa nafasi ya kuanza katika mchezo wa leo dhidi ya klabu ya KV Oastende. Samatta amepata nafasi hiyo ya kuanza mchezo wa leo March 13, ikiwa ni zaidi ya mechi nne amekuwa akiichezea timu hiyo akitokea benchi. Baada ya Samatta kuanza first eleven, alipachika  goli la kwanza kwa timu yake dakika ya 25 ya mchezo, lakini hilo pia ni goli lake la pili toka ajiunge na KRC Genk. Rafael Benitez ameteuliwa kuwa kocha mpya wa klabu ya Newcastle kufuatia kufutwa kwa aliyekuwa kocha wa kilabu hiyo Steve McClaren. Benitez amewahi kuzinfundisha timu za Liverpool,Chelsea,Real Madrid,Intermilan na Valencia anaichukua timu hiyo ikiwa imesalia pointi moja kushushwa katika jedwali la ligi ya Uingereza huku kukiwa kumebakia mechi kumi pekee. Former Lagos FA Cup Champions C.O.D United FC of Lagos held its squad presentation event with the players and management declaring their readiness to continue the success the club has achieved in its short existence. A Norwich player Robbie Brady lost two teeth in last night's loss to Chelsea after his teeth collided with the forehead of his teammate, Gary O'Neil. Footballer Adam Johnson has been found not guilty of one count charge of sexual activity with a 15 year old girl, while the jury is still undecided on the other count of sexual activity by penetration, with the prosecuting counsel saying Johnson admitted the first two charges of kissing and grooming an underage girl so he could be set free from the more serious counts of sexual activity with a child.   Arriving at court today, Johnson was again accompanied by his ex-girlfriend Stacey Flounders, who has supported him during the trial and gave evidence for the defense, despite claiming she and the sacked footballer have split up. Trabzonspor player Salih Dursin was furious after a referee in a Turkish league match gave the marching orders to his teammate Luis Cavanda. Dursin picked up the referees card after it fell on the floor and shoved it in the referee's face. Kabla ya Abdi Banda kuoneshwa kadi nyekundu na kuiacha Simba ikiwa pungufu kwa mchezaji mmoja hali ya mchezo ilikuwaje? Kabla ya kadi nyekundu kutolewa kwa Abdi Banda, game ilikuwa ime-balance na Simba walikuwa wameitawala Yanga kwenye eneo la midfield lakini baada ya kadi nyekundu ya Banda, ikailazimu Simba kumshusha Majabvi kwenye nafasi ya ulinzi wa kati.
